The Toolkit is intended to introduce potential social entrepreneurs to some of the critical concepts and tasks related to developing a social enterprise “that marries the mission of a non-profit or government program with the market-driven approach of a business.” (Social Enterprise Alliance). 

The Toolkits briefly described here, can serve as stepping stones connecting the social entrepreneur’s personal exploration of purpose and passion with practical aspects of starting a social enterprise to deliver a positive impact on their selected targeted problem.

The arrangement in which these Toolkits are presented is not intended to suggest a rigid sequence of steps that must be followed in order. In this particular Boot Camp, they will be used in the order provided. Beyond the Boot Camp, we encourage students to utilize the tools in the order that best fits their learning style, interests, and business needs.
